60 Years of Legacy
In Coimbatore, Tamilnadu—a city alive with the clatter of looms—our story began with struggle and spirit. Our father, Chandran, and mother, Rajeswari, didn’t have the luxury of school. Financial hardship pulled them into textiles young, helping their father’s handloom business survive. Chandran, with 60 years of weaving wisdom, and Rajeswari, with 50, turned necessity into mastery, their hands crafting silk on looms that hummed with life. Our ancestors wove cotton dhotis for the Tamilnadu Handloom Society, a legacy of grit we’re proud to carry. From those threads, Karmaverse was born—a dream to make handlooms not just survive, but thrive.
A Family’s Fight
Nine years ago, a stroke left Chandran in a wheelchair, but it couldn’t dim his fire. He’d spent decades weaving, and now he dreams of reviving an industry fading fast. He doesn’t weave anymore, but his voice—steady with hope—guides us still. Rajeswari, ever his rock, keeps the looms alive, her hands threading silk with a quiet strength. They taught us quality, honesty, and integrity—values etched in every Karmaverse piece. Chandran’s life was about helping others, a mindset we honor by giving back through every stitch.
Two Brothers, One Mission

We’re Karthik and Maheswaran, sons of this legacy, fueled by a bold idea: handlooms can be fashionable, luxurious, and alive—not relics of the past. Karthik runs the business side—building karmaverse.in and mastering digital marketing—while Maheswaran oversees production, ensuring every cushion cover, kurta, and dhoti shines. Both ex-software engineers in e-commerce, we’ve swapped code for silk, turning our parents’ lessons into a global vision. Their belief in quality drives us; their honesty keeps us real. We’re here to give handlooms a new look—zodiac and temple designs that dazzle the latest trends and the current generation.
Silk for Today, Soul for Tomorrow
From Coimbatore’s dusty looms to the world, we’re taking silk where it’s never been. Certified by Silk Mark India, our handwoven pieces are eco-crafted—slow fashion that’s kind to the planet and rich with meaning. Chandran and Rajeswari’s legacy isn’t just in the past; it’s in every thread we weave, every story we tell. This isn’t just a brand; it’s a family’s fight to keep handlooms alive, shared with you.
